Project-Based Learning
Meaningful learning for ALL students

Research shows that the project-based approach promotes excitement as well as a deep and meaningful learning for ALL students. Students using our curricula take part in learning experiences framed around answering questions, addressing challenges, or solving problems. Our curricula differ from traditional programs, in that they contain all the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts that need to be taught, but they are presented in an exciting, innovative, and relevant way. The content is always placed in a larger context that emphasizes using science and engineering practices, and mathematical reasoning while motivating students through a project/problem-based learning approach.

Active Learning
Engaging students in dynamic, cooperative learning

Students practice science, engineering, and mathematics in the classroom the way that scientists, engineers, and mathematicians do. They work in collaborative groups to iteratively solve problems and explore challenges. They ask questions and define problems, develop and use models, plan and conduct investigations, collect and analyze data, construct explanations and design solutions, and discuss and present their findings. As they do, they develop a community of practice and a culture of collaboration and communication. Active learning provides ALL students with a deep and memorable learning experience.

Technology-Enhanced Learning
An essential piece of the puzzle

Our technology sets the stage for positive lab experiences for students. All our kit components are designed with customized specifications to fit the needs of the investigations in our curricula. We work with a team of equipment specialists to identify, configure, test over time, and in some cases manufacture our kit equipment and materials. We are proud to offer reliable and affordable electronic technology as well, including the einstein™ Tablet+, Fourier data loggers, sensors, solar and wind-energy kits, and Dynamics System. We also can provide WebCam Laboratory software, and even Alvarion wireless, outdoor Internet.
